A native of Toronto, Canada, McDermand received his Bachelor of Arts and Masters degrees in History from the University of Waterloo in 2004 and 2006 and a Masters of Public Administration degree from Ohio State in 2009. Rob is also a member of the National Association of Academic Advisors for Athletes and the Project Management Institute.
