NACOGDOCHES, Texas -- The Stephen F. Austin State University Ladyjacks have been named at the top of the Southland Conference All-Sports Standings. The Ladyjacks lead eleven Southland Conference schools for 1999-00 with 92.5 points. Overall in the Commissioner's Cup race, Stephen F. Austin finished the year fourth in the Southland Conference. This is a compilation of both the men's and women's team scores.

Ladyjack basketball led SFA's women's teams with a total of 22 points for clinching the Southland Conference regular season title. They were closely followed by the volleyball team with 20 points. Volleyball ended its season in second place.

On the men's side the Lumberjacks finished eighth in the All-Sport Standings with 46.0 points. This effort by the Lumberjacks was hindered due to baseball being a 20 point sport. The Lumberjack football team led the SFA men with their Southland Conference Football Championship title and 10.5 points. Cross country had 9.5 points and a second place finish at the conference meet in the fall.
