    Rob Meyers serves as assistant athletics director for business operations, and along with his responsibilities within the athletics department, Meyers also handles the play-by-play responsibilities for Lumberjack football and basketball.

    Meyers spent eight years as the SFA sports information director, handling media relations for the school's 16 varsity sports.

    A graduate of SFA, he joined the university staff after a 10-year career in radio and three years in the newspaper business. During his radio career, Meyers served as the news and sports director for several radio stations, including two in the Lufkin/Nacogdoches market.

    The Nacogdoches native is married to the former Eileen McCormick of Irving. They have three sons, Matthew, Christopher and Timothy.
