    BATON ROUGE, La. - The Stephen F. Austin men and women's track and field team opened competition in the LSU Combined Events Thursday afternoon in Baton Rouge, La., on the LSU campus. Drew Rentfro finished ninth overall for the Ladyjacks, while freshman Kyle Ketchersid is currently sixth in heptathlon.

    Rentfro scored 2,641 points in the pentathlon for the Ladyjacks. Ketchersid is currently sixth after scoring 2,181 points. Ketchersid will return to action Friday to conclude his competition in the heptathlon. The event is scheduled to begin at 3 p.m.
