BATON ROUGE, La. - The SFA men's and women's track and field teams competed at the LSU Bayou Bengal Invitational Friday night. The Ladyjacks were led by a some underclassmen that posted some solid marks.

Sophomore Markeisha Edwards finished third in the shot put. She recorded a throw 45-8.50. Freshman Emylee Hartwig finished fifth in the pole vault when she cleared a height of 10-10.00.

Junior Crystal Chang traveled to Houston, Texas to compete in the pentathlon at the Houston Indoor Invitational. Chang finished third overall scoring 3,587 points.

Results of the other events were not posted at press time.
