AUSTIN, Texas - The Stephen F. Austin men's and women's track and field teams had two athletes competing during the afternoon sessions of the Texas Relays Friday. Freshman Ryan Rossner (Metairie, La.) competed in the discus throw and classmate Shametra Boykins (Karnack, Texas) competed in the triple jump.

Rossner finished 18th in the discus with his throw of 151-9.00. Boykins was 14th in the triple jump with her mark of 39-3.25.

The SFA track and field teams will wrap up competition at the Texas Relays Saturday. The field events are scheduled to get underway at 11 a.m., with the men's high jump. The track events are slated to start at 12:30 p.m., with the women's 400-meter hurdles.
