NACOGDOCHES - The Stephen F. Austin men and women's track and field teams will be traveling 40 athletes to College Station, Texas, Saturday to compete in the Texas A&M Invitational. The field events are slated to start at noon with the women's hammer throw. The track events will get underway at 3:30 p.m., with the women's 3,000-meter steeplechase.

Three Lumberjacks sit atop the Southland Conference standings in their respective events. Senior pole vaulter Adam Keul (Tyler, Texas) is the league leader and tied for tops in the country with his mark of 18-2.50. Sophomore Nathan Flores (Kingwood, Texas) owns the league's top mark in both the 3,000m steeplechase (9:06.56) and the 5,000m run (14:33.39).

On the women's side, senior Destine Rawls (Houston, Texas) leads the SLC in the discus throw. She threw a season-best 154-2.00 at the Baylor/Dr. Pepper Relays.

The SFA track and field teams will return to action Saturday when they will send athletes to Waco, Texas, for the Baylor Invitational and to Fort Worth, Texas, for the TCU Invitational.
