DES MOINES, Iowa - Five members of the Stephen F. Austin men's and women's track and field teams competed at the Drake Relays Saturday. Seniors Adam Keul (Tyler, Texas) and Destine Rawls (Houston, Texas) competed in the invitational division of the pole vault and the shot put, respectively. Senior Misty Ballard-Swan (Carlsbad, N.M.) competed in the university division of the pole vault, while juniors Paul Todd (Marshall, Texas) and Jessica Claiborne (Spring, Texas) were in the university division of the high jump and the triple jump, respectively.

Todd had one of the better performances for SFA, finishing fifth in the high jump with his mark of 6-10.50. Claiborne jumped 38-1.50 to finish 17th in the triple jump. Rawls finished 11th in the shot put with her mark of 45-11.25. Ballard-Swan cleared a height of 11-11.75 to finish 13th in the pole vault, while Keul failed to clear a height in the men's pole vault.

SFA returns to action Saturday, as it will host the SFA Invitational the Fletcher Garner Track.
