    Lauren Smith becomes third Ladyjack with multiple individual Southland titles.

    2010: Crossed the finish line seventh overall with a time of 9:18.41 in the steeplechase at the conference championships ... Was sixth in the outdoor 5,000-meter run with a time of 15:03.55 at the conference meet ... Just missed all-league honors by finishing fourth (32:05.91) in the 10,000 meters ... finished 16th (25:51) overall at Southland Conference Cross Country Championships ... earned all-region honors at NCAA South Central Regionals, finishing 18th overall (30:59) on the 10,000-meter course.

    2009: Recorded a time of 33:46 to finish 72nd overall at the NCAA Regional Cross Country Championships ... Was the fourth Lumberjack to cross the finish line at the SLC Cross Country Championships ... Finished the course 29th overall with a time of 25:50 ... Recorded a sixth-place finish in the 10,000 meters (32:24.59) to finish sixth overall at the conference outdoor meet ... Redshirted the indoor season.

    2008: Cracked SFA's top five in each of his last two races during the cross country season ... Finished 72nd overall and was the fifth Lumberjack across the line at the NCAA South Central Regional Championships, posting a time of 33:37.8 ... Was the fourth 'Jack to finish at the SLC Championships with a 27th-place time of 26:50.

    High School: Reached the Class 2A state championships in both the 3,200 meters and 1,600 meters as a senior ... Won the regional title in the 3,200 and finished second at regionals in the 1,600 ... Posted a personal best time of 9:33.84 in the 3,200 at the Texas Relays in 2008 and clocked a 4:23.90 in the 1,600 meters at a meet in Fredricksburg ... Won the District 29-2A cross country championships in 2007 and went on to take the Region IV title before finishing eighth at the 2A state meet ...
