2007: Honorable mention All-SLC selection ... second on `Jacks with .342 average ... saw action in 53 games with 42 starts, incdluding starting every game after March 16 (37 straight) ... tied for the team lead with four triples ... led the team with nine sacrifice bunts ... picked up seven steals in 10 attempts on the year ... scored 38 runs on the season ... put together a 15-game hit streak that stretched from March 17 to April 15, with nine of those games being multi-hit efforts ... his .397 on-base percentage was third-best mark on team ... hit what proved to be game-winning home run as part of back-to-back homers with Kevin Croft in the sixth inning against Sam Houston to clinch SFA's first-ever berth in SLC Tournament ... picked up a hit, drew three walks and scored two runs in a 13-5 win over Dallas Baptist (3/28) ... was 5-for-14 in the regular season's final series against Sam Houston State, scoring four runs (5/17-5/19) ... was 3-for-4 with a home run and three runs scored in a 15-11 win over Southeastern Louisiana (3/18) ... scored a season-best four runs after picking up a hit and drawing three walks in a 10-8 win over Central Arkansas (3/31) ... only committed one error in 53 outfield games.

2006: Made 40 of his 41 starts in centerfield... hit .223 with 31 hits, 16 runs scored and 10 RBI... hit four doubles and two triples and stole seven bases... hit a career-high two hits eight different times... scored a career-high two runs three times... had a 2-3 performance with two runs scored and an RBI at Dallas Baptist (2/21)... went 2-5 with two runs scored at Louisiana-Monroe (3/11)... had two hits in two at-bats at Lamar (3/26)... went 2-4 with two runs scored and an RBI at Texas-San Antonio (4/29)... against Sam Houston State, had a 2-5 showing with one run scored and a career-high two RBI (5/18) ... was named to the Athletics Director's Honor Roll.

High School: A two-year letterwinner under head coach Herb Espinosa at Clements High School... earned second-team all-district honors as a pitcher during his junior year, going 7-3 with a 1.19 ERA... was a first-team all-district pitcher and second-team All-Greater Houston outfielder as a senior... threw a no-hitter in his junior season... named team co-MVP... guided Clements to the regional finals as a sophomore... as a senior, led the district in wins... went 8-2 with 61 strikeouts in 58 innings pitched while holding opponents to a .213 batting average... hit .403, with four home runs and 21 RBI as a senior... led prep squad to back-to-back district titles... pitched a two-hitter in the semi-finals of the Perfect Game Wood Bat World Series, leading his team to a perfect record.
