2007: Third team All-SLC selection ... named to SLC/Capital One Baseball All-Academic team ... broke own school season record for wins with nine ... set school record for career wins with 17 ... tossed 5.2 innings for the win versus McNeese State, SFA's first ever win in the SLC Tournament ... second on team with 4.38 ERA ... led `Jacks with 109 innings pitched, also the most innings ever thrown in a season by any SFA pitcher ... led `Jacks with 82 strikeouts on the season, breaking Brian Steinocher's school record of 75 ... was tied with Jared Schrom for most starts with 17 ... pitched a complete game shutout versus UT-Pan American ... picked up complete game win with six-strikeout effort versus Lamar ... picked up first win of the season with seven-inning effort versus Centenary ... had seven appearances of five innings or longer in which he alllowed zero walks ... tossed 5.2 scoreless innings with six strikeouts and no walks against Louisiana-Monroe (2/9) ... picked up a complete-game win over Lamar when he mixed three runs and 10 hits with six strikeouts over nine innings ... ate up innings as 15 of his 17 starts lasted at least five innings.

2006: Was named to the Louisville Slugger Freshman All-America team by Collegiate Baseball Newspaper after finishing the season with an 8-3 record... his eight wins is a single-season school record at SFA and ranks fourth on the career list... pitched 76.2 innings of work, tied for ninth best in school history... his 63 strikeouts are the fourth best in a season in school history and ninth best in a career at SFA... had a 3.40 ERA, which ranks sixth at SFA... made 12 appearances before earning his first start at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi where he gave up four hits, none of which scored, and struck out eight in 6.0 innings earning his fourth win of the season (3/29)... he started his last seven appearances, taking complete game wins in his last three games, including a 4-0 complete game shutout of TAMUCC (5/7)... Gave up 11 hits but only allowed one run and walked only one while striking out seven in an 8-1 win over Southeastern La. (5/14)... gave up two runs off nine hits and struck out six in a 6-2 win to complete the sweep of Sam Houston State (5/20).

High School: Was a four-year starting pitcher for Coach Michael Bird... during his prep career, he recorded more than 450 strikeouts and had a .450 batting average... he also hit the game-winning home run in the state championship game in 2005... was named MVP his sophomore, junior and senior years... was a four-time all-district selection... named the Star Telegram's Private School Player of the Year his junior year... was selected to the all-tournament team at the state tournament as a senior... guided Harvest Christian Academy to two bi-district titles and the 2005 state championship... Also was a two-year letterwinner in soccer... won the academic Presidential Award and was Who's Who Among American High School Students.
