    Croft Named Hitter of the Week

    FRISCO, Texas - After hitting .500 in three games last week, sophomore catcher Kevin Croft was named the Aeropostale Southland Conference Hitter of the Week for the week of March 5-March 10 announced the league office Monday afternoon.

    Croft earned his first hitter of the week award after leading the Lumberjacks in a sweep of the Texas-Pan American Broncs. He hit one home run in each game of the three-game set. On Sunday, Croft's two-run home run in the second inning scored SFA's only runs in a 2-0 shut out of UTPA. For the weekend, he scored three runs and had seven RBI.

    The Lumberjacks head into the week with a 10-10 record and will face Centenary Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. in Shreveport, La.
