    - SFA is just 5-23 all-time against the Owls after last year's loss at Reckling Park. SFA has not won in the series since 1994. The last time SFA won in Houston was a 10-4 decision in 1989.

    - SFA has three individuals currently leading the Southland in an offensive category as Ricardo Sanchez currently leads the league with a .444 batting average, Hunter Dozier leads with a .600 slugging percentage and Freddy Villalobos' four homers are also tops in the league.

    - Sanchez also ranks second in the league in slugging percentage (.500) and on-base percentage (.593), while Dozier is third in on-base percentage (.468).

    - SFA's .292 batting average is second in the Southland as as a team, while its 14 homers are five more than anyone else in the league.
