High School: Played at Eisenhower High School for coach Jeffery Brush... started and lettered as a junior and senior... averaged 12 points, 6.5 rebounds and one steal per game for high school career... was an 85 percent free throw shooter and 37 percent 3-point shooter... had best high school performance in the regional quarterfinals against Galveston Ball when he scored 23 points (5-of-5 on 3-point shots), grabbed four rebounds and recorded four steals... was a two-time all-district selection and was named team captain and defensive MVP as a senior... was named to the all-tournament team at the Aldine ISD Tournament as a senior... in 2001, was named team MVP at the Nike Invitational Academy Tournament, Texas division... team reached regional semifinals of the Class 5A playoffs his senior year... team won Polk Oil Tournament in 2001 and finished as runner-up at Aldine ISD Tournament in 2001...
