    NACOGDOCHES, Texas (AP) - Dedrick Sanders scored 18 points and Marcus Clark added 16 as Stephen F. Austin won its sixth straight game with a 79-69 victory over McNeese State on Saturday.

    SFA (7-3, 3-0 Southland) won the game at the free throw line, getting 33 more chances than McNeese (5-6, 1-3). SFA was 25-of-39 from the free throw line. McNeese was 6-for-6. SFA was called for 14 fouls, compared to 27 for McNeese.

    SFA led 41-38 at halftime, then opened the gap despite hitting 40 percent from the field in the second half.

    Edward Garriet was 7-of-9 on 3-pointers and finished with 25 points for McNeese. Jason Coleman and Adrian Johnson each added 12 for McNeese.

    McNeese lost 19 turnovers, including six by Lewis Eldridge. SFA had 12 steals, led by four from Clark.
