NACOGDOCHES, Texas (AP) - Senecca Wall scored a game-high 19 points to lead Sam Houston State to a 62-56 victory Saturday over Stephen F. Austin.

Wall also led the Bearkats (8-4, 4-1 Southland) with nine rebounds.

Edwin Tatum and Ron Banks each scored 14 points to lead Stephen F. Austin (5-6, 2-3). Emanuel Jackson had five rebounds.

Sam Houston and Stephen F. Austin each shot poorly in the low-scoring game. Sam Houston's shooting was 41 percent and Stephen F. Austin shot 42 percent.
