TULSA, Okla. (AP) - Tyrone Tiggs scored a career-high 24 points and had seven rebounds to lead Oral Roberts past Stephen F. Austin 78-57 Saturday.

Tiggs made 8-of-9 field goal attempts. Reggie Borges came off the bench to score 14 points and Richie Myers added 11 for the Golden Eagles (6-8), who have won four of their last five games.

ORU's Kendrick Moore contributed a game-high 10 rebounds and blocked six shots.

Percy Green paced the Lumberjacks (6-4) with 16 points and Skip Jackson added 11.

Tiggs was 5-of-5 on 3-pointers and had 17 points in the first half to spark ORU to a 44-28 lead at intermission.

Stephen F. Austin cut its deficit to 51-40 with 14:06 left, but couldn't get any closer as ORU responded with an 11-4 run. ORU's biggest lead was at 73-50 with 3:04 remaining.

In the first half, the lead was exchanged several times during the opening 10 minutes until a basket by Borges gave ORU a 16-15 lead and started a 14-2 run.

After Tiggs' 3-pointer put ORU ahead 31-19 at 5:34, the Golden Eagles' lead was never less than 10.

ORU shot 63 percent from the field in the first half and finished at 56.3, compared to 35.4 for Stephen F. Austin.
