Stephen F. Austin Lumberjack forward Percy Green, a junior from Oklahoma City, has been named the Southland Conference Player of the Week in men's basketball for the past week. Green helped the 'Jacks to a 2-0 mark last week with overtime wins over Rice and Southwest Texas.

For the week, Green hit 17 of his 29 field goal attempts for a .586 percentage. He averaged 21.0 points, 8.0 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game in the 'Jacks two wins. SFA is currently riding a three game win streak heading into Wednesday night's non-conference game with Centenary.

In the 'Jacks 90-86 win over Rice last Tuesday night, Green scored 24 points, pulled down five rebounds and added five assists. Green also recorded his first double-double as a Lumberjack Saturday in the Lumberjacks' 75-64 overtime win over Southwest Texas, the SLC opener for both teams. Green currently leads the Lumberjacks in scoring, averaging 17.8 ppg.
