The 'Jacks return to the coliseum Saturday night to host Oral Roberts looking to snap a two-game losing streak. SFA dropped an 80-75 decision to Texas Southern Saturday night to fall to 1-3 on the year, while the Golden Eagles were beating Mississippi Valley State to move to a perfect 6-0 on the season.

SFA played well in Saturday's loss, but could not overcome certain aspects of playing on the road in the loss to TSU. The 'Jacks won virtually every statistical category in the contest but were beaten at the free throw line. The Tigers were 26-34 at the line in the contest, while the Lumberjacks went only 3-6 at the stripe. G Ben Hunt was the only Lumberjack to get to the line in the second half of play.

Hunt led SFA with 16 points in 37 minutes of action. The 6-1 senior also added five assists while committing only two turnovers in taking over the point for Marcus Clark. Clark was not with the team Saturday night, and has left the team due to personal reasons. There has been no date set for a possible return.

C Percy Green had maybe his best all-around game in adding 14 points and pulling down seven rebounds. G Jasen Gast also added 14 points for the 'Jacks, and was 4-8 on three point attempts in the game.

For the year, the Lumberjacks continue to shoot well, shooting .523 from the field while holding opponents to a .419 field goal percentage. SFA opponents however, are shooting .392 from beyond the three point arc to only a .288 clip for the Lumberjacks. The 'Jacks are also +1.0 in turnover margin, but are being outrebounded by an average of one rebound per game through the first four contests of the year.
