Dan Eason enters his ninth season in charge of the Lumberjacks' strength and conditioning program. During Eason's time in Nacogdoches, he has helped strengthen the 'Jacks with his workout programs.

A 1995 graduate of Southwest Missouri State University, Eason joined the SFA program after one season as a strength coach at the University of Central Florida. Eason also spent two years as a graduate assistant strength and conditioning coach and coordinator of sports nutrition at the University of Tennessee from 1998-2000.

The former Southwest Missouri State letterman also spent two seasons as the defensive line and strength coach at Chowan College from 1996-2000.

Eason's undergraduate degree is in dietetics, and he holds a master's degree in human performance and sport studies from the University of Tennessee.

Eason's wife, Angel, is a probation officer in Nacogdoches County. The couple has an infant daughter, Violet.
