    COACHING EXPERIENCE
    YEARS AT SFA: Seventh season, re-joined the staff in January 1999. Coached at SFA in 1993 and 1994.... eignth year as a collegiate coach. O-line allowed only 12 sacks in 2002 and 15 sacks in 2003 while attempting more than 575 passes, an average of one sack per every 21.2 pass attempts.... moved to defensive line for the 2005 season under new head coach Robert Mcfarland.

    EDUCATION: Graduate of Hemphill High School, 1976. Received a B.S. in physical education, SFA 1980, and M.S. in mid-management, SFA 1984.

    PREVIOUS COACHING EXPERIENCE: Head coach Killeen Ellison High School, 1995-1998... tight ends coach, Stephen F. Austin, 1993-94... Head coach, Anahuac High School, 1989-1993... also coached at Newton, Sabine Pass, Woodville, and Overton High Schools.

    PLAYING EXPERIENCE: Hemphill High School, quarterback, 1974-76... All-District QB, 1976... also lettered in baseball and track.

    PERSONAL DATA: Born March 16, 1958 in Nacogdoches... . three-time District Coach of the Year.... two-time Killeen Daily Herald Super Team Coach of the Year... selected to coach in the 1998 Texas v. California High School All-Star Shrine Bowl... married to the former Debbie Roberson of Jasper.... son Vince played four years as a tight end for the Lumberjacks, signed with the Tennessee Titans in 2002, now resides in Florida...also has a daughter, Linsey (20), a sophomore at SFA.

    POSTSEASON PARTICIPATION: Coached SFA in the NCAA I-AA playoffs, 1993... Coached Killeen Ellison to three straight District titles and four straight playoff appearances... Ellison went 41-9 under Walker.
