Knicky Earns Another Preseason Honor

Despite earning third-team AP All-America honors, and being a 2009 Consensus Draft Services (CDS) Preseason All-American, senior defensive end Tim Knicky is considered one of the most underrated players in the country according to CDS. Southland Conference Releases TV Schedule

The Stephen F. Austin Lumberjack football team will have two of its games aired on the Southland Conference Television Network announced league officials Wednesday afternoon. The SLC-TV Network, which is in its second year, will showcase the Lumberacjacks in consecutive weeks beginning Saturday, Oct. 10 against McNeese State. Four Lumberjacks Named to Preseason All-America Team

Seniors Tim Knicky and Duane Brooks, and juniors Jabara Williams and Jeremy Moses have been named to Consensus Draft Report 2009 Preseason All-America Team according to the CDS web site Thursday afternoon. Williams earned first-team honors, while Knicky garnered second-team recognition. Both Moses and Brooks were named to the honorable mention squad.MORE[+]
