Former Stephen F. Austin standouts Chuck Rawlinson (Football, 1988-90), Winston Harrison (Basketball, 1979-82) and Ronnie Hawthorne (Football, 1966-69) have been selected to the SFA Lettermen's Association Athletic Hall of Fame.

Rawlinson was a three-year letterwinner for the Lumberjacks, and helped guide the team to the 1989 Southland Conference title. A 1988 first-team All-SLC selection, Rawlinson still holds several school records including most field goals in a game (5), season (29) and career (57), as well as being the school's all-time leading scorer (300 points). Rawlinson also set the record for longest field goal in school history with a 58-yarder against Sam Houston State during his senior season. During his career, Rawlinson booted nine field goals from at least 50 yards.

A Bryan, Texas, native, Harrison earned three letters as the point guard for coach Harry Miller. Winston graduated as the school's all-time leader in assists, and is currently third all-time in the SFA record books with 354. A former first-team all-conference selection, Harrison tied the single-game school record with 14 assists against Abilene Christian in 1982.

Hawthorne was a four-year letterwinner for coach Travis "Shorty" Hughes from 1966-69. During his time in Nacogdoches, Hawthorne was twice named first-team All-Lone Star Conference.

Along with the SFA Lettermen's Hall of Fame, Neal Quillin and Kevin Hurley have been selected to join the 'Jacks of Honor. Quillin was a three-year letterman on the Lumberjack football team from 1962-64 for Coach Hughes. Hurley was a four-year letterwinner on the Lumberjack basketball team under Coach Miller. They will be honored at the Lettermen's Game on Saturday, Sept. 13, when the 'Jacks host Kentucky Wesleyan.
