NACOGDOCHES - The 1983 Stephen F. Austin Lumberjack football team will hold its 25th-year reunion Friday, Oct. 24 through Saturday, Oct. 25, 2008. All players, coaches, managers, and friends of the program are encouraged to attend.

Activities will begin Friday evening at Lumberjack Alley, where a tent will be set up for the team. Mike Granger will serve barbecue both Friday night, and Saturday prior to the game. Lumberjack Alley is located east of Homer Bryce Stadium, and north of the William R. Johnson Coliseum.

Those interested in attending should contact Tod Weder at (580) 226-6400. The Lumberjacks will host Texas State at 2 p.m., in Homer Bryce Stadium. The game against the Bobcats will also mark 25 years to the day since SFA upset top-ranked Texas State during the '83 campaign.
