'Jacks Move Up Seven Spots in Sports Network Poll
Sept. 19, 2000 The Lumberjacks moved up seven spots from week two to week three in the latest Sports Network Top 25 poll, following last Saturday's 34-31 double overtime win over Louisiana Tech. The Lumberjacks entered the week ranked at number 17 in the poll and moved up seven spots to tenth following the win. The move into the top ten marks the first time since November, 1997 that SFA has been in the top 10 in the national rankings. SFA spent two straight weeks at number seven in the nation in early November that year before two late losses dropped the 'Jacks ranking. Below is this week's Sports Network poll.
