    Luedecke Earns SLC Player of the Week

    PLANO, Texas - Senior defensive back Ryan Luedecke has been named Southland Conference Defensive Player of the Week league officials announced Monday afternoon. It marks the second time this season that Luedecke has earned the honor.

    Luedecke guided the Lumberjacks to a thrilling 27-21 overtime victory over Nicholls State Saturday at Homer Bryce Stadium. Luedecke put on a clinic recording a career-high 22 tackles, including three solo stops. He was also credited with a tackle for loss and a sack.

    The `Jacks return to action Saturday to face 25th-ranked McNeese State. The venue and kick off time are still to be determined.
