SFA Golf In 13th Place At UTSA Invitational

Sauntry shoots 77 to lead SFA in first round action.

Freezing temperatures and heavy rains halted play during the second round of the Roadrunner Intercollegiate Invitational Monday afternoon in San Antonio.

The tournament, originally scheduled for 54-holes will be shortened to 36-holes with the second and final round to be completed Tuesday, if weather permits.

Texas Tech leads the tournament after 18-holes of play with a round of 300. SFA stands in 13th place after a first round 325. Trevor Sauntry was the only Lumberjack golfer to break 80 in round one.
