The Lumberjack golf team shot rounds of 303-304 on the opening day of play at the Moe O'Brien Invitational in Lake Charles Monday, and stand in eleventh place heading into the final day of play.

Walt Schroeder played as a medalist in the tournament and shot rounds of 72-73 in the opening rounds.
