    SFA Golf In Sixth Place Heading Into Final Round At UALR

    LITTLE ROCK, Arkansas -- Brian Grossman shot rounds of 73-71 Monday to lead the SFA golf team to sixth place heading into Tuesday's final 18-holes of play. The 'Jacks are 10 shots back of tournament leader Jacksonville State and five strokes back of fourth place UT-San Antonio heading into the final round.

    Grossman is tied for 10th at two over par, 144 but is only two shots out of the top five. Jeremy Ice enters play Tuesday in a tie for 23rd following opening day rounds of 71-77. Trevor Sauntry is just a stroke back with a 149 total following rounds of 76-73. J.P. Landry is also tied with Sauntry for 29th with rounds of 75-74 on day one. Dustin Byrd opened the tournament with a 74 and shot a 77 in the afternoon to round out the scoring for the 'Jacks.
