JONESBORO, Ark. - Freshman Kyle Robbins recorded a three-day score of 72-69-72 - 213 (-3) to lead the Stephen F. Austin Lumberjacks Tuesday afternoon at the ASU Indian Classic, but it wasn't enough to keep the 'Jacks from slipping a spot in the final standings. Despite all five SFA golfers finishing the day within four strokes of Robbins the Lumberjacks finished 16th overall with an eight-over par 872 at the Sage Meadows Golf Club in Jonesboro, Ark.

Sophomore Ricky Wilkenfeld was also consistent for the Lumberjacks shooting even par in the three rounds. Wilkenfeld recorded a 71-72-73 - 216 to finish tied for 45th overall.

After opening with a 76, freshman Michael Smith battled back to record consecutive rounds of 73 to finish tied for 72nd overall with a six-over par 222. Classmate Jacob Taylor finished only one stroke back of Smith with a seven-over 223.

Sophomore Matt Oates closed out the SFA scoring. The Diboll, Texas, native carded a 74-75-76 - 225 to finish tied for 83rd overall.

The 'Jacks return to action Monday when they travel to Lake Charles, La., to compete in the Southland Conference Championships. The SLC tournament will be a three-day, 54-hole tournament that will run through Wednesday.
