Lumberjack Golf In Sixth At Squire Creek Intercollegiate

Trevor Sauntry returned to form Monday as he shot rounds of 75-70 and led the way for the Lumberjack golf team at the Squire Creek Intercollegiate, held at Squire Creek Country Club in Choudrant, Louisiana. The event, hosted by Louisiana Tech, will conclude with 18-holes Tuesday, weather permitting. The 'Jacks posted rounds of 303-303 and are in sixth place heading into the final round of play, just three strokes behind second place UT-Pan American. McNeese State leads the event after rounds of 304-292 Monday afternoon. Sauntry stands in a tie for third place entering the final round, just three shots back of Boise State's Graham DeLaet. DeLaet is at two under par, 142 after rounds of 72-70, Monday. Jeremy Ice is also among the top-15 at the tournament, in a tie for 12th place with rounds of 72-78 Monday. Ice enters play Tuesday just three strokes out of fifth.
