    'Jacks Finish 10th at UTSA

    KERRVILLE, Texas - The Stephen F. Austin Lumberjack golf team finished 10th at the UTSA Comanche Trace Invitational in Kerrville, Texas Tuesday afternoon. SFA was led by junior Chad Spencer who shot a 73-70-75 - 218 to finish tied for 14th overall.

    Josh Irving finished the tournament only five strokes back of Spencer with a seven-over par 223 (75-73-75). Irving was tied for 34th overall. Freshman Matt Oates finished tied for 44th overall after shooting a 73-74-79 - 226. Sophomore Jonathan Porter finished fourth for the Lumberjacks shooting a 78-77-76 - 231, to finish 54th. Freshman Ricky Wilkenfeld saved his best round for Tuesday shooting a one-over par 73 to finish the tournament with a 232. Wilkenfeld finished 55th overall.

    The Lumberjacks return to action Friday, Nov. 3, when they travel to Many, La., to compete in the Battle on the Bend tournament.
