Lumberjack senior Trey Schroeder led the way for SFA with rounds of 71-74-70 for a one under par total of 215, good for an eighth place finish at the 2000 Herb Wimbeley Classic hosted by New Mexico State University.

As a team, SFA shot rounds of 289-298-293 to finish at 16 over par, 880 for the two day event. The 'Jacks finished four strokes ahead of host team New Mexico State.
