    Funeral Arrangements Set for Former SFA Golf Coach Bill Hill
    Funeral set for 10 a.m. Friday at Rader Funeral Home

    The funeral arrangements for former Lumberjack golf coach Bill Hill will be Friday, March 10 at Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore, Texas. The services are set to begin at 10 a.m. Visitation will be Thursday, March 9th from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Hill will be laid to rest at Kilgore City Cemetery.

    Hill served as the head coach of the `Jacks' golf team from 1990-2000. During his time in Nacogdoches he guided SFA to two Southland Conference titles (1991 and 1999) and was recognized as the league's top coach in 1991 and 1996. Hill produced 17 all-conference selections and two SLC Player of the Year honorees during his tenure at SFA. Hill guided the Lumberjacks to the 1996 NCAA Regional Championships, which still stands as the program's lone trip to the NCAA tournament.

    In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Grace Community School in Memory of Coach Bill Hill Baseball Fund.
