    The Lumberjack golf team shot rounds of 308-304 on day one of the Cellular One Raising Cane Golf Classic in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. Southern Mississippi, the host team, leads heading into the final 18-holes of play Tuesday.

    Trevor Sauntry led the Lumberjacks with rounds of 76-76 and is in a tie for 52nd place. Freshman Brian Grossman shot rounds of 76-77 and is one stroke back of Sauntry in a tie for 55th.
