'Jacks Fall to 10th on Final Day

KIAWAH ISLAND, S.C. - The Stephen F. Austin men's golf team struggled in the final round of the Invitational at Kiawah Island posting a 322 to finish 10th overall. SFA closed out the tournament with a three-round 307-303-322 - 932. Senior Mitchell McLeroy led SFA with a three-day 229 to tie for 15th place. Sophomore Blake Pugh finished the week two strokes back of McLeroy with a 78-74-79 - 231. Pugh finished tied for 21st. Freshman Major Monzingo climbed the ladder to post the team's third-lowest score (79-75-82 - 236). Monzingo finished tied for 39th in his first collegiate tournament. Sophomore Austin DeWitt, who led SFA after the opening day, struggled in the final two days of the tournament recording consecutive rounds of 83 to finish tied for 54th (73-83-83 - 239).
