    'Jacks Finish 13th At North Texas Event

    The Lumberjack golf team faded on Tuesday's final 18-holes play as they shot a final round 310 and fell to 13th place at the Mean Green Invitational held at Bridlewood Golf Club in Flower Mound.

    Lamar University posted a three round total of 847, 17 under par to win the event. Chris Stroud of Lamar won a three way playoff for individual honors, defeating teammate Shawn Stefani and Jeremiah Shields of Arkansas State. All three shot a five under par total, 211 for the 54-hole event.

    The 'Jacks shot rounds of 293 and 290 on Monday, but could not maintain their position, shooting a final round 310 to fall to 13th place.

    Trevor Sauntry finished in a tie for 33rd after shooting rounds of 75-70-75, to finish at four over par, 220. Freshman Brian Grossman was consistent in his second tournament of the fall shooting a three round total of 221 (74-74-73).
