NACOGDOCHES - The Stephen F. Austin Lumberjack golf team returns home to host the 2007 Bill Hill - Crown Classic at the Crown Colony Country Club in Lufkin, Texas. The Crown Classic will begin Monday at 8 a.m. with a shotgun start. The Crown Colony Country Club is a par-72 course stretching 6,692 yards. The two-day tournament will consist of three rounds, with 36 holes being played on Monday. The 10-team field will consist of host SFA, Missouri-Kansas City, Oral Roberts, Southland Conference opponents McNeese State and Central Arkansas, Wichita State, Texas-Pan American, Oklahoma Christian University, Oklahoma City University and Northwood. The tournament will wrap up Tuesday with the final round of action. Tuesday's round will also begin at 8 a.m. Last season, the Lumberjacks entered the final day of competition eighth of 15 teams at the Bill Hill - Crown Classic. The 'Jacks jumped out to a quick start in the final round and were steadily moving up the leaderboard when the rains came and washed out the final round. The inclement weather put an end to the 'Jacks' rally forcing them to take an eighth-place finish. -SFA-
