    SFA To Host Crown Classic Monday and Tuesday

    The Stephen F. Austin Lumberjack golf team will host the 2003 SFA-Southern Chrysler Crown Classic Monday and Tuesday at Lufkin's Crown Colony Country Club. The 54-hole event gets underway Monday morning with a shotgun start beginning at 8:30 a.m.

    The teams will play 36-holes Monday, then conlcude the tournament with 18 holes of play beginnign Tuesday morning with tee times on the first and tenth holes beginning at 8:00 a.m.

    Last year's champion, Arkansas-Little Rock is not returning to defend its title.

    The field includes two teams from SFA along with teams from : UT-San Antonio, Rice, Sam Houston, Oral Roberts, Texas State-San Marcos, Nicholls State, UM-Kansas City, Louisiana Tech, UT-Pan American and Southwestern.

    Results of the first and second rounds will be posted on the web site Monday night.
