After a four-year career in a Ladyjack uniform, Jessica Gaines has traded her uniform in for a clipboard and whistle as she begins her first season as a student assistant on the Ladyjack coaching staff. Gaines will begin her coaching career after a four-year stint at SFA that saw her play in 70 games, earning 24 starts during her career. Gaines graduated as one of the school's all-time best three-point shooters. She finished her career tied for 11th all-time with 55 career triples.
