BEAUMONT, Texas -- The Stephen F. Austin State University Ladyjack basketball team defeated Lamar University 66-36 to improve their record to 10-3 overall and 5-0 in Southland Conference play.

Sophomore, forward Amy Collins scored a total of 13 points for the Ladyjacks in 29 minutes of play. This was a career and season high for the 6-3 forward. Collins shot .625 (5-8) from the field and .750 from the three-point range (3-4). She also accumulated three assists. Collins has contributed 57 points this season.

The Ladyjacks will be back in action Saturday, January 6 at 2:00 PM. The game will be in William R. Johnson Coliseum in Nacogdoches. Call 468-JACK for ticket information.
