NACOGDOCHES, Texas -- The Stephen F. Austin State University Ladyjack basketball team remains undefeated after their win over the Texas-Arlington Mavericks 72-49. SFA continued its home game winning streak to 23. The Ladyjacks are ranked fourth nationally for this home game winning streak and eighth nationally for a ten game winning streak overall this season. After tonight's game the Ladyjack have a record of 15-3 overall and 10-0 in Southland Conference play.

The Ladyjacks had three players in double figures including Patricia Brown, Chaquita Dilworth and Nathesia Wright. Wright led her team with 16 points. She shot .600 (6-10) from the field, .500 (2-4) from the three-point range and perfect from the free-throw line (2-2). She has led SFA in scoring in five different games this season. Senior Patricia Brown had 13 points for the night. She shot perfect from the field (4-4) and .833 (5-6) from the free-throw line. Dilworth accumulated 12 points (all from the field) and led the Ladyjacks in rebounds with nine. Lashinda Winters made an impact by accumulating seven assists for the night.

The Ladyjacks will be back in action Thursday, January 25, in Huntsville, Texas as they face the Sam Houston State University Lady Kats. The game will begin at 7:00 PM.
