    The Ladyjacks (0-5) shot over 50 percent from the field Sunday afternoon, but couldn't overcome some key three pointers from the Rams of Colorado State (5-1) in dropping an 85-62 decision, in Fort Collins.

    SFA ended the afternoon hitting 28 of 56 from the field (.500), but was only only three for 12 (.250) from behind the three point stripe. Colorado State meanwhile shot just over 50 percent from the field hitting 32 of 63 from the field. CSU was also 7-18 from beyond the three point stripe.

    LaToya Mills led SFA with 16 points, with Kim Branch adding 12 and Amy Collins adding 10 points for SFA. Yolanda Grant led SFA on the glass with six rebounds. The Ladyjacks were beaten on the boards by a 37-29 count, with most of the differnce coming late in the contest.

    THe Ladyjacks take the week off this week to concentrate on finals before returning to action next week in Ruston, La. against Louisiana Tech.
