NACOGDOCHES, Texas -- The Stephen F. Austin State University Ladyjack basketball team improved their record to 8-3 overall and 3-0 in Southland Conference play after defeating the Nicholls State Lady Colonels 69-34 tonight in Nacogdoches.

The Ladyjacks were led by sophomore Nathesia Wright with 16 total points for the night. Three other Ladyjacks went into double figures including Lashinda Winters (12), Jessica Guild (10) and Yolanda Grant (10). Winters also accumulated six assists.

The Ladyjacks will be back in action Saturday, December 30, as they face the Southeastern Louisiana Lady Lions. The game will begin at 4:15 PM in William R. Johnson Coliseum in Nacogdoches.
