Ladyjacks Game Notes: vs. Oral Roberts

FOR STARTERS: SFA (10-12, 5-6) wraps up their two-game homestand with a rematch against Oral Roberts on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. The Golden Eagles defeated SFA back on Jan. 12 in Tulsa, 63-56. ORU is 3-3 in their last six SLC contests and are coming off a 67-63 loss at Northwestern State on Thursday.
LAST TIME OUT: On Thursday the Ladyjacks handed the Central Arkansas Sugar Bears their third consecutive loss with a 53-45 triumph at William R. Johnson Coliseum. SFA was led in scoring by sophomore center Porsha Roberts, who scored a game-high 17 points.

HISTORY VS. ORU: ORU holds a 2-1 advantage over SFA all-time and will be making their first ever trip to Nacogdoches.
BENCH PRODUCTION: The Ladyjacks have now won the bench scoring comparison in 19 of 22 games after outscoring UCA, 27-1. SFA is averaging 22.9 points per game off their bench, 11 points better than their opponents (11.2).
PORSHA SEEING DOUBLE: Sophomore center Porsha Roberts has scored in double-figures in seven consecutive games and is averaging 14.5 point per game in Southland Conference play on 56 percent shooting from the field. Roberts also moved into eighth place in school history in career blocks with 94.
WHERE THEY STAND: SFA is currently the seventh seed in the Southland Conference standings but are just a half a game behind No. 6 Nicholls State (5-5) and one game back of No. 5 UCA (6-5). This season the top-8 teams in the conference make the league tournament in Katy, Texas.
