    Fox Set to Televise Ladyjacks/Texas Tech Game

    NACOGDOCHES - The 2002 Southland Conference Champion Stephen F. Austin Ladyjacks' first-round NCAA West Region game against No. 4-seed Texas Tech will be televised live on KFXL Fox 30 (Nacogdoches cable channel 11 and Lufkin cable channel 10) Friday night.

    The game is slated for a 9:36 p.m., tipoff from the United Spirit Arena in Lubbock, Texas.

    "Our continued partnership with Nacogdoches Memorial Hospital has allowed Fox 30 to televise the Ladyjacks NCAA first-round game against (Texas) Tech to SFA fans in East Texas," said SFA Associate Athletic Director Gregg Fort. "We would like to thank Fox 30 and presenting sponsor Nacogdoches Memorial Hospital for their continued support of SFA athletics."

    The Ladyjacks are a perfect 5-0 this season in televised games. SFA's last televised game was a 78-53 win over Northwestern State in the Southland Conference Championship game on Fox Sports Net.

    The 13th-seeded Ladyjacks are making their 15th consecutive trip to the NCAA Championships and their 16th overall trip to the tournament.
