NACOGDOCHES - The Stephen F. Austin Ladyjacks proved again in 2001-02 that the William R. Johnson Coliseum remains one of the toughest places for opponents to come and play. SFA recorded a perfect 13-0 record in Nacogdoches last season, which places them in a 10-team tie for first place according to The RPI Report. The report ranks teams in order of winning percentage.

Defending National Champion Connecticut recorded the most home victories last season with a 20-0 mark. Both Louisiana Tech and National runner-up Oklahoma won 14 home games and SFA was one of three teams to record 13-0 home records. SFA has amassed a 308-71 (.813 winning percentage) all-time record in the William R. Johnson Coliseum.

The Ladyjacks finished the 2001-02 season with a 24-6 overall record. SFA was the 2002 Southland Conference regular-season and tournament champions on their way to the school's 15th consecutive appearance in the NCAA Championships.
