    MILLSBORO, Del. - The Stephen F. Austin Ladyjacks bowling team closed strong on the final day of the UMES Hawk Classic to finish in fifth place.

    Tenth-ranked SFA (17-7) defeated three ranked teams in best-of-seven play, which included victories over No. 9 Valparasio (4-1), No. 8 Sam Houston State (4-2) and No. 15 Adelphi (4-1). 

    SFA will play in one more tournament before the calendar year is over when they travel to Huntsville, Texas to compete in the Kat Clash Nov. 30-Dec. 2.
