    KANSAS CITY, MO. - The No. 13 Stephen F. Austin Ladyjacks bowling team had another solid day at the Central Missouri Invitational on Saturday, going 4-1 as a team in match play.

    SFA (59-25) defeated No. 8 Sam Houston State (1046-971), No. 4 Arkansas State (1021-957), Alabama Birmingham (1056-870) and No. 5 Vanderbilt (952-939).

    The Ladyjacks lone loss came in the fifth and final match against host and No. 1 Central Missouri (967-936).

    Junior Nicole Parkhurst bowled a team-best 274 in the match against Alabama-Birmingham. Parkhurst was second overall individually with a total pinfall of 1119 and average score of 223.8. Freshman Melanie Crawford also finished in the top 10 with a seventh place finish and total pinfall of 1054.

    SFA will conclude the three-day tournament tomorrow beginning at 8 a.m.
