Jennifer Wiggins is in her third year with the Stephen F. Austin varsity equestrian program. She had spent nine years teaching riders in the English disciplines and was the SFA Equine Center's manager for one year before taking the assistant coach's position.

Wiggins has logged 16 years total as a competitor in the Hunter/Jumper and Dressage arena. She rode on SFA's equestrian club team from 2002-2005, serving as team captain for the 2004-05 season.

Wiggins is a 2005 graduate of Stephen F. Austin with a bachelor's of science degree in agriculture. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with a major in animal science.

Wiggins lives in Nacogdoches with her husband, Adam.
